FRIENDS of Evansville Police is a membership organization sponsored and supported by Evansville Police Foundation. At its August 13 meeting, 40 FRIENDS members gathered at Wesselman Park to meet and interact with Evansville Police Department Mounted Patrol Unit. The Mounted Patrol demonstrated the horses’ skills that are used to patrol neighborhoods and assist police during large community events.
